Svenja Bierwirth studies Geography (M.Sc.) at the University of Hamburg and is a scholarship holder of the Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung. During her bachelor's degree in Kiel, she was employed as a student assistant in the field of Empirical Social Research and studied political science in a minor. She is particularly interested in feminist and political geographies and is committed to memory, equality and queer politics as part of her local political commitment. Svenja Bierwirth studiert Geographie (M.Sc.) an der Universität Hamburg und ist Stipendiatin der Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung. Während ihres Bachelorstudiums in Kiel war sie als studentische Hilfskraft im Bereich Emprische Sozialforschung beschäftigt und studierte Politikwissenschaft im Nebenfach. Sie interessiert sich besonders für Feministische und Poltische Geographien und setzt sich im Rahmen ihres kommunalpolitischen Engagements vor allem für Erinnerungs-, Gleichstellungs- und Queerpolitik ein.
