Bill Okal, the “congenial conjurer,” is a magicain specializing in Cards, Vanishing coins, Cups & balls, Sleight-of-Hand, Close-up magic, and Street performing. He also worked in a law office, while preforming his magic at night. In 1961 he joined the U.S. Army Band Program. In 1971, he and friends, Eddie Fechter, and "Obie" O'Brien founded "Fechter’s Finger Flicking Frolic" Magic Convention {4Fs, FFFF Convention} in Buffalo, New York. In 1982 he wrote a book titled "Card Magic", for the company "Paragon-Reiss". He later moved to California where he became more of a street performer. He and friend Alan Hayden would perform together at the 'Magic Castle' in Hollywood, California. In the 2010's he was frequent street performer in Santa Monica, California.
