Dr. Krishna Kumar, born in Meerut, India, was Emeritus Professor of Physics at Tennessee Tech University, Cookeville, Tennessee. He passed the Master of Science (Physics) at age nineteen and got his first job at the National Physical Laboratory in New Delhi. In 1956, he left for the USA, where he received a Ph.D. in Nuclear Physics at Carnegie Tech, Pittsburgh, PA. He joined Tennessee Tech in 1980, where he received the prestigious lifetime chair of University Professor of Physics, which was crucial to his international travel, as well as bringing international scientists to Tennessee Tech. He retired in 1999, but worked from home on a new theory published in 2007. His research work, presented in five books and 120 publications, took him for lecture tours and stays in fifteen countries on four continents, including years abroad in England, Denmark, Sweden, France, Norway and Japan. He also published a science fiction novel titled *The Redhead of Alpha Centuari* which he coauthored with his elder son, Jai Robert Kumar.
