Lukas Geisler is pursuing a master's degree in political theory in Frankfurt am Main, is a political activist and works as a freelance journalist. Previously, he studied philosophy and political science with a focus on migration, flight and social participation as well as the regional focus on North Africa and Western Asia in Erlangen and Cairo. At the Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung, he is involved in the working group for critical flight and migration research and has been a scholarship holder since 2019. He publishes his column "Grenzräume" in MiGAZIN and his non-fiction debut with the title "Die Willkommensgesellschaft. A concrete utopia" was published in October 2022 by oekom Verlag.
