Susan Connell
Susan Connell
While working for the foreign service Susan Connell met a U.S. Navy pilot, and eight days later they were engaged. A lot of years and several moves later, Susan, her husband, Jim, and daughter, Catherine, calls south Florida home, and are parents of three grown daughters. During years she had a part-time job at a local bookstore, and when she's not writing, Mediterranean cooking and traveling with her family or with a small group of girlfriends who also enjoy her penchant for adventures, are some of her favorite activities. She has a love of traveling that has taken her all over the world—Central and South America, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Italy, to name just a few places. She published her debut novel as Chloe Summers in 1991, and she continued publishing novels as Susan Connell writing at Bantam/Doubleday/Dell and Silhouette, she retired in 1998, but now pullished her novels at ebook format. She has been honored by New Jersey Romance Writers with their coveted Golden Leaf Award. She finds creating characters with good hearts and moral challenges is another enjoyable experience. Making her readers laugh is always a pleasure. She says her motto is "Well behaved women seldom make history." She loves hearing from her readers.
