Peter Griffiths is a businessman who, after running a successful computer software company, and a publishing company with his wife, was one of the founders of the popular cricket website CricInfo. Subsequently, he and Philip Bailey founded CricketArchive, which now has the largest searchable on-line database of cricket scorecards and players. The ACS was founded in 1977. Its prime aim is to further research into cricket statistics and history and to publish the results.
