Isaac Leeser
Isaac Leeser
Isaac Leeser was an American, Ashkenazi Jewish religious leader, teacher, scholar and publisher. He helped found the Jewish press of America, produced the first Jewish translation of the Bible into English, and helped organize various social and educational organizations.
