Barbara Parker spent most of her teen years in Vietnam, returning to the US to earn a bachelor’s degree in English language and literature. She later was a grant writer and a business owner before returning to university to earn an MBA and PhD in strategy from the University of Colorodo. She is currently a professor in the Albers School of Business and Economics, Seattle University, USA where she teaches globalization and international management.
