Alan Barzman, "Barz" ran his own advertising company for several years. Besides doing advertisements, Alan also wrote comedy sketches. In 1976 he teamed up with Pat McCormick, forming the team ""Barzman & McCormick"", to create a series of humorous short radio sketches in length from 1 minute to 90 seconds, called "From: Studio B", under that name, a collection of these sketches were released on a record album. They then released a second album titled "Super Nutritious Humor". Alan also appeared on the 1978 LP "The Comedy of Proctor & Bergman: Give Us a Break". In 1977 he was the lead voice actor, in the animated film "The Extraordinary Adventures of, The Mouse and His Child" where he played the father Mouse. Two years later in 1979 his voice was featured in "Puff the Magic Dragon in the Land of the Living Lies", animated television special, as a Rock #1. In 1982 he teamed up with Bert Berdis, {formerly part of the advertising firm "Dick & Bert"} in 1982, they would later preformed the voices of the penguin characters Don and Herb, in the television show "Beakman's World". His book "Hearing Voices: Creating, Voicing & Producing Great Radio Commercials" was published in 2002, it was later republished in India as "Radio Advertising", by Unistar books in 2004. He is mostly known for being the voice on the television commercials with the Energizer Bunny, Alan says the famous phrase "He keeps going, and going, and going." He continued working in advertising at least until about 2003-2004, with his company "Barzman & Company".
