Kris B. Condi is a science-fiction author whose work incorporates and promotes traditional values. She is originally from Thatcher, Arizona. She has a bachelor’s in Philosophy from UCLA, which she attended on a Naval ROTC scholarship. After graduating college, Kris was commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Navy. She served as a surface warfare officer before attending University of Chicago Law School under the Navy’s Law Education Program. During law school, she once memorably corrected her professor, the future President Obama, when he referred to military uniforms “costumes.” After law school, Kris had a successful career in the Naval JAG Corps which culminated in her serving as the military assistant, or chief of staff, for the General Counsel of the Department of Defense. When Kris was no longer able to practice law due to a medical condition, she decided to turn her story-writing talents to writing fiction novels. When not writing, Kris enjoys baking and traveling. She is a fan of science-fiction and fantasy movies and books because they are so much more entertaining than reality. Follow her on Twitter @KBCondi and Instagram at K.B.Condi.
