Jones, Richard
Richard Jones was born in 1926 on a farm near the Welsh coast and was educated in Aberystwyth. His poetry appeared in various magazines. The Three Suitors was his first published novel. He worked for Reuters and as a bulletin editor for the BBC. He was visiting lecturer in creative writing at Stanford University and at the University of Virginia.
