沈涛，云南省昆明市红旗小学教师，中国少数民族作家协会会员，云南省作家协会会员，鲁迅文学院少数民族创作班第八期学员。常年致力于儿童文学创作，在《儿童文学》、《读友》、《中国少年儿童》、《蜜蜂报》、《滇池》等刊物上发表短篇童话小说十万余字。由中国少年儿童出版社出版了关于艾滋病的儿童小说《不能说的秘密》。2015年8月，国家新闻出版广电总局公布了中国文艺原创精品出版工程项目名单，其中沈涛的作品——《楚楚的离歌》在全国1237个申报、推荐选题中脱颖而出，成为了77个中国文艺原创精品出版工程项目中的一个。
