The ceramics of the "Paracas Culture" have been known for more than a century in Peru and the world. Outstanding studies on its material culture have been made since the time of its discovery by Julio C. Tello and have continued throughout the 20th century. Following in this wake of studies, in this book the authors make available to the scientific community and the general public a detailed description of the Parcas ceramic excavated and scientifically analyzed during the last 8 years by the team of the Programa Arqueológico Chincha (PACH). In this monograph the Paracas ceramics of the Chincha valley are ocumenta, which has proven to be one of the cradles of this important pre-Hispanic society during the first millennium BC.
