Ian Lloyd is about to start his junior year of high school. Everything in his life is going wrong until he discovers he is an alchemist, a skill that is shared by a few people who can transmute elements under the guidance of their talent. He begins to work on a Philosopher's Stone, trying to save his mother's life, but not everyone wants him to succeed.
