Exhibition of the monumental sculptures of Amilcar de Castro (b. Brazil 1920-2002). Castro is considered one of the most representative sculptors of the late 20th century and played a major role in the Neoconcrete movement. The "Manifest neoconcreto" (1959) written by poet and critic Ferreira Gullar and was undersigned by Amilcar de Castro, Franz Weissmann, Lygia Clark, Lygia Pape, Reynaldo Jardim and Theon Spandis.
