This study seeks to draw up a comprehensive local history of the city of Aigai in Cilicia during the imperial period. Since there are few inscriptions or literary accounts of the city during this time period, the history is based for the most part on numismatic evidence, especially a large deposit of Hadrianic silver coins from Aigai.
