Johannes Harder
This is a story of men, women, and children who were forced from their homes in Russia during the 1930s to become resettlers in logging camps in northern Russia. The terrible hardships they endured are grimly realized in this novel by Hans Harder. The author is known as probably one of the best writers using Mennonite themes in his writing.
