This book is a terrific overall guide to fishing as practiced in the early 1960's. Most types of fishing, freshwater and saltwater, are covered in the well-organized text. The author was also a talented illustrator and his work appears throughout the book to display each fish specie discussed as well as many items of fishing tackle.
