Miguel D. Mena
Study on René del Risco Bermúdez (1937-1974), Dominican poet and short story writer, who was an active anti-Trujillista, jailed and exiled in Puerto Rico in 1960. He is considered the writer most representative of the post-Civil War period (1965-1970) and founded the literary group El Puño with Miguel Alfonseca, Ramón Francisco y Marcio Veloz Maggiolo. His most well-known works include El viento frío (stories, 1967) and En el barrio no hay banderas (short stories, 1974), among others.
