The exhibition comprises thirty Brazilian Baroque icons created by popular artists and scholars such as Aleijadinho, Mestre de Piranga, Mestre Cabra, Francisco Xavier de Brito and Francisco Vieira Servas. The works are all dated from the 18th and 19th centuries and belong to private collections. "The saints of this exhibition were Catholic men and women recognized for their exemplary conduct, and worthy of eternal devotion."
