This historical biography examines the life and public career of Pierre de Jarrige de Lamorélie (1558–1624), a senior royal financial officer based in Limoges during the late sixteenth and early seventeenth centuries. Drawing on regional records and genealogical evidence, the study places his work as president and treasurer-general of France within the administrative and social world of provincial governance.
