Mark Hayes, "creative director" at a hot new production company in Hollywood, finds himself accused of murder when he finds a body in the pool of his boss Dexter Morton, a loathsome producer. Mark must find the true killer before he is jailed or becomes the next victim. All this takes place after a major earthquake has left the city of Los Angeles in disarray.
