The Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company
Paperback book glued together on the spine. The covers are grey with black and yellow highlights. There are a few wrinkles and mild discoloration along the edges. On the front cover is the title and an illustration of Fort Clatsop, the Winter Quarters for Lewis & Clark in 1805-1806. On the top of the back cover is a mailing sticker with the address for "Francis Ziak, 3555 Harrison Dr., Astoria, ORE." In the upper right corner is the Postage Paid square. In the center of the back cover are three illustrated "cubes": two on the bottom and one on the top. Each cube has two yellow sides, and one side with an illustration of members of the family like: mother, father, and teenage girl. The caption underneath the cubes says, "Take Life Easy with an extension telephone in every room you use a lot. The Cost is Small - Less Than a Nickel a Day Per Phone Call Your Telephone Business Office." The silhouette of the evergreen tree with the words "Keep Oregon Green" inside it is now in the bottom left corner. The yellow band that goes around both covers is 0.5". The words inside the yellow band say, "See the Classified In This Directory; Its Yellow Pages Tell You Where to Buy It." There is also an illustration of an open book in the middle of the yellow band that says, " Yellow Pages." Size: 6" x 9"
