Gregor Jansen, Ina Gerken, Carina Bukuts
Expressing the inexpressible: the paintings of the young artist Ina Gerken (*1987) oscillate between abstraction and graphic techniques and hence develop a very special, haptic quality. They are process-oriented works that are approached very intuitively and whose outcome is completely open. By accepting chaos and coincidence, the artist creates works that develop a universal language that requires no explanation, specifically as a result of the openness, the layering of paint and forms. The young painter's new publication shows her poetic pictorial language and surprises again and again as a result of captivating painterly episodes.
