With An Abstract of the Lives of their Favourites, Somerset and Buckingham. Collected from the Writings of the most eminent Historians, and interspersed with the Pasquils of those Times. To which are added, Two Comedies, (wrote by Ben. Jonson, &c. and not printed in his Works) called The Widow, and Eastward Hoe. By W. R. Chetwood. 8vo. f. [1] (blank), [8], pp. [x], [i], 12-72, 126, [2], f. [1] (blank). Calf. Spine raised on 5 bars with red and gilt lettering panel. Head- and tailpieces. Printer's device on titlepages of ‘The Widow’ and of ‘Eastward Hoe.’ Some ink doodles on front pastedown, with no. "VI-42." Manuscript signature on title page ("Wm. [Thonbean?]"). Very scarce.
