Followed by a picture of the 1882 Astoria, Oregon Entrance to the Columbia River. This book is a collection of letters from Truman P. Powers sent various newspaper sources. The letter shares an insight of his own stories and pioneer experiences. At the end of the book there is some miscellaneous biographical material about Truman.
