Actor Peter Abranti keeps waking up next to dead women, not remembering how or why he killed them. Katie Townsend, an actress-turned-librarian, is an amateur sleuth who receives a warning from a medium about the aura of impending danger surrounding her. Katie and Peter pursue one another in a deadly cat-and-mouse game that will only end when one of them is dead.
