On the surface, it is a fast-paced, sexy, gay romp, full of funny escapades. The characters are swiftly drawn in a few colorful brushstrokes, but it is the remarkable dialogue that provides laugh-out-loud responses from the reader. However, death is at the door in the form of the 1980s AIDS Plague. How the characters deal with it distinguishes this book. Characters have amazing heart.
