Brooke Conrad is the star shortstop for her high school's softball team, one of the best girls' teams in the state, but when she is asked to play shortstop on the baseball team with the boys, she doubts her ability. Although Brooke agrees to do it, the boys don't want her on the team, and she is doubtful she made the right decision.
