Ivã Volpi
A study of the art of Volpi (b. Minas Gerais, Brazil, 1957). His experimental art uses diverse materials such as bamboo, string, paper, glass, and aluminium that reflect his thoughts about nature. He has worked extensively with bamboo in creating objects, installations and interventions that use a wide range of colors in harmony with the life that he leads outside the city. He has made long trips inside Brazil working and visiting with indigenous groups to develop his art.
