Massimo Frasca
This volume collects and analyzes the archaeological evidence, along with the literary evidence, relating to the cities founded by the Greeks along the eastern coast of Sicily, from the second half of the 8th century BC to the Second Punic War (end of the 3rd century BC). The author's goal is to provide a profile of the Greek colonies in eastern Sicily, and to show the evidence for their principal historic, topographic, and monumental aspects.
