T. J. Rhys Jones
A fairly good grammar and speaking course book - the tapes are essential if you wish to speak Welsh - however a learner might struggle unless they are 'aural' learners. If you write some paragraphs in English and use Google transate into Welsh your will see the vocabulary is quite 'non English' ie 80% Celtic, 10% Latin 10% English. and some really 'fun' rules for grammar and mutation... wow the first letter of words changes - for a variety of reasons CAT > my NGHAT > your GAT > her CHAT. it is guite a jallenge do learn vut really worth the effort and it is phonetic too.
