Outspoken is an endeavor and an attempt by Syed Imon Rizvi to raise his voice by putting his thoughts in poetry. He is a young poet who has studied in Pakistan and USA. He has received Bachelors in Commerce, Post Graduate in Public Administration and an MBA masters degree. An incident made him to start writing poetry as according to him, it is sometimes much easier to convey messages through poetry than anything else. He has performed, as a religious singer, his vocal recitations at Paine Music Hall, Harvard University (USA) and Voice of America, Washington D.C, (USA) in 2004 and 2001 respectively. He is an artist, author, poet, singer, musician, composer, filmmaker and an activist. This is his first collection of poetry in which he has raised his voice against aggression outspokenly. He has written poems on wide variety of topics such as love, peace, ethics, harmony, personalities and world politics. Syed Imon Rizvi is an artist, singer, musician, composer, activist and a poet. He is 33 years old and he is from Pakistan but lived in USA for many years. Where he met people from around the world which affected his perspective and provided him with immense exposure to different nationalities and world affairs. He started writing poetry in 2004, when he felt that there is a greater need to express his views and thoughts in a more elaborate, easy, rhythmic and more importantly in convincing manner. He has performed, a religious singer, his vocal recitations at Voice of America and Harvard University. This is his first collection of poetry in which his experiences and views of life, as he saw or felt including the events and news which influenced him, are collected and recalled as poems. He does not have a fear to say truth and he wants the whole world to join him, because that is the final solution of our problems as he thinks and feels. He is very open in expressing his thoughts through his poetry and that is the reason he named his book "OUTSPOKEN".
