Frank Waldman
Good book for fans of football fiction, young and old. Story is about a star football player from his days in college as the best player of his team. He is good enough to be recruited into the NFL and despite turning them down, is drafted anyway. He wants to be a lawyer, and sees pro football as a way to pay for law school as a favor to his older brother, who paid for college for him after their parents died. Good story with believable events, great illustrations and enough conflict to make the book palatable to older readers.
