Kutetuka, a poor boy from Western Kavango, moves to Rundu where he starts working for a construction company. He makes good progress and becomes a builder, but his pride and ambitions eventually get the better of him. Living beyond his means, he turns to crime and alcohol, with disastrous consequences.
