Felicity Worlton, newly graduated from college, has no luck finding a job. In desperation, she answers a newspaper ad and goes to work for Gregory Novelle, homebound because of a broken hip. He wants help writing his memoirs. Felicity is worried that he may be a kook; but instead finds a crusty old man who is afraid of his feelings.
