Peter Capstick
This is about Capstick's return to Africa on a safari led by by Gordon Cundill, probably Africa's premier hunting guide. Having been a professional hunter and prolific writer for many years it reflects his respect for Africa and its wildlife. It opens with both Capstick and Cundill being charged by a very angry lion that survives many direct hits by high powered rifles. It is the best written story about a hunting safari written by a professional hunter. Anyone who has read any of Capstick's book will enjoy this one. It is his last book before his untimely death.
