Antonio Pennacchi
Only 85 kilometres from the centre of Rome, there is a town called Latina between the Mediterranean sea, the lakes and the mountains. Founded in the Fascist era by Mussolini in 1932, in an area where there used to be marshes, ponds and malaria, we assist to the saga of a very poor family "the Peruzzi" to which it was given the possibility to move from their native lands in north of Italy, where they had nothing to loose, and start a new life in an unknown and unhealthy place in the aftermath of World War I.
