James D. Quiggle
This commentary on the book of Revelation assumes Jesus was the author and John the reporter of the words and events described. An understanding of Revelation will not be found in pagan literature or history, but in the history, doctrines, and symbolism of the preceding 65 books. The commentary follows the principle that the Scriptures explain themselves, because Revelation is a word directly from Jesus, faithfully recorded by John, who accurately described all he saw and heard. Difficult passages are addressed and plausible answers discussed. The theological POV is a conservative and dispensational theology.
