Missy Kulik
"A ape" goes on an adventure in the forest. Along the way, the ape meets a variety of other animals and objects, the names of which all begin with vowels and are purposefully referred to grammatically incorrectly as "a ant" or "a eel," for instance. At the end, the ape finds "an chicken." Missy's illustrations are in black and white, with handwritten text, and printed on pale yellow paper.
