Gloria Vallese
Stars and Travels' is an art and science exhibition, ideated by Gloria Vallese, and entirely created by professors and students of the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice. It stems from the discovery that the main portal of San Marco in Venice contains an early, extraordinary sculptural representation of the celestial sphere (half of the 13th century), with stars and constellations represented not only in Western iconography, but according to a vast range of languages from North Europe to India and China.
