A Magyar Tiszti Arany Vitézségi Érmet 1942. szeptember 12-én alapította Horthy Miklós Magyarország Kormányzója. A kitüntetést összesen 22 magyar tiszt részére adományozták. The Hungarian Gold Medal of Bravery for Officers was instituted by Hunngarian Regent Admiral Miklós Horthy in 12nd September, 1942. It was for altogether awarded to 22 Hungarian officers.
