Roger Ormerod
Taking the photographs at a wedding should not have been a dangerous procedure. But when a bank raid takes place close to the church, there can be a possibility that there is more recorded on the wedding photos than the robbers would wish. Len Podmore, photographer, is not the sort of person to sit back and forget it when his wedding set of negatives and proofs are stolen. He takes the initiative in their recovery, but the opposition could be either of two rival gangs of crooks, and when you're squeezed in the middle, the situation could become uncomfortable. Especially when Len is not certain whose side the police are on. But Len, with his mixture of aggression and sardonic humour, steers a hectic course of bluff and counter-bluff, and if the bodies continue to appear it isn't his fault. Is it?
