A. G. Bradley
A book about the origins of Canada, it's French connections with Louis XV and the known USA under George II. It's beginnings under the auspices of two forward thinking governors named Dinwiddle and Shirley who were the only ones that sensed the French desire for the land of USA to couple with their French Territories around the St Lawrence river between Quebec & Montreal. The book is written as a story but is still a quality reference book of facts on population, trade, military and political ways of the era of the 1740s to the 1850s It is very readable and written in clear, no jargon, English
