Pascale Roze
In this novel Pascale Roze tells the story of Laurence Bertilleux, a courageous woman who at 28 years of age enrols in the army and leaves for Vietnam, at the height of the Indochina war (1946-1954). Back in France the years pass, she gets married, becomes a mother, and then a widow. The novel is also a reflection of time passing and the duty of memory.
