Fatma Mansur
Fatma Mansur, a Harvard educated social scientist, had written a wonderful book about Bodrum, a sleepy town where she lived happily for many years. Many years ago I read the book but now that I reside sometimes in Turgutreis my interest about the Bodrum peninsula has become very keen. I would like to obtain a copy and keep it in my library. If you are interested in reading a serious social study of Bodrum in the 1960s, I highly recommend this book. Alternatively, you may also consider reading books by Selcuk Erez and Baskin Oran on life in Bodrum. They are all valuable and worth reading.
