Quentin Flynn
In the sleepy summer of 1852, the mayor of Arrivederci, Italy, is worried. His village survives on money made by the sale of its eggs. Unfortunately, the road to Bellissimo, where the eggs are sold, is too rough and every egg is smashed before it reaches the market. The village cannot afford to build a better road. The mayor begins a competition in the village to find a better way to transport the eggs.
