Dani Webster had played the Game with her sister, Kelly, for as long as she could remember. But the Game is now a hazy memory as Dani looks up from the floor of the isolation room at Riverwood Clinic, a psychiatric treatment facility for "teens with problems". As Dani recovers from her physical trauma, she must confront a deeper emotional trauma, develop the courage to face her family's deep dysfunction and terrible secret -- and to eliminate the Game from her life forever.
