Neil J. MacKinnon
Self-esteem is a concept which everybody experiences, either positively or negatively, but there is some conceptual confusion in self-esteem theory and research arising from a failure to clearly distinguish between self-feelings and self-conceptions. This book addresses the issue by replicating past studies with analysis of original data and proposing a three-factor theory of self-sentiments consisting of self-esteem, self-efficacy and self activation.--Back cover.
