José Sabogal Diéguez
Important reference for Sabogal (b. Lima, March 19, 1888 ı December 15, 1956). The muralist and painter was a leader in the artistic indigenist movement in Peru, he promoted Pre-Columbian culture and esthetics from Peru after a visit in 1922 to Mexico where he met Diego Rivera, Orozco and Siqueiros.
